Log aksar IPO aur NFO Mutual Fund ko ek hi samaj ne ki galti karte hai par aisa hai nahi. To kya difference hai dono IPO aur NFO Mutual fund ke bichme hum apko is post me batate hai.

NFO Mutual Fund

Difference between IPO and NFO Mutual Fund:

Generally hum ye sochte hai ki jaise hum stock me IPO me invest karke jyada return earn kar sakte hai vese hi mutual fund ke NFO me invest karke jyada return earn kar sakte hai magar aisa nahi hai.

IPO me company apko market me list hone se pehle apni company me share de rahi hai aur jab wo company market me enter hogi to uski demand aur supply par company growth kar sakti hai aur ussi base par investor ko achha return bhi mil sakta hai.

Lekin NFO mutual fund me jab paise invest karte hai to mutual fund apke paiso ko market me invest karta hai. To yaha par apko mil raha return fund manager ke performance, mutual fund process, market condition aur investment objective par depend karta hai.

IPO me company pehle hi establish hoti hai isliye company ke bare me basic history pata kar sakte hai jisse aap usme invest karna chahte hai ya nahi wo decide kar sakte hai, par NFO me koi aisa track record nahi hai jisse aap samaj pate ke fund ka performance kaisa hoga.

Aab saval ye aata hai ki NFO me invest karna chahiye ya nahi ?

Yaha par NFO me invest kare ya nahi iska pura decision fund manager par depend karta hai jo kafi risky ho sakta hai kyunki ye fund kese perform karega wo kehna muskil hai.

New fund me expense ratio jyada ho sakta hai kyunki jyada asset under management nahi hote jis vajah se naya fund established fund se jyada faydemand nahi hai.

Kuch log NAV ki value ko dekh kar fund choose karte hai aur obviously new fund ki NAV kum hi hogi.

Naya fund apko kum NAV pe to milta hai par returns apko investment aur redemption NAV ke difference par depend karta hai NAV ki value par nahi aur isse ek example se samjte hai.

Ek fund hai “A” jo new fund hai jiske NFO me aap invest karte hai aur dusra open ended fund hai “B”.

New fund  “A” ka NAV hai 10 Rs. aur “B” ka NAV hai 50 Rs. Aap dono me 1000 Rs. invest karte hai. Jaise ke aapko pata hoga new fund me apko 100 unit milege aur purane fund me 20 units.

Kuch time baad aap apne dono fund me se investment ko redem karte hai. Jaha fund “A” ka NAV redemption 11 Rs. hai aur fund “B” ka NAV redemption 55 Rs. hai.

Returns ke calculation ki formula hai,

Investment NAV – Redemption NAV/Investment NAV

Yaha dono fund me apko return 10% milega. Ye return se hum keh sakte hai ki NAV par hamare returns nahi depend nahi karte. To behatar hai ki open ended mutual fund jiska track record dekh kar aap investment ke liye fund choose kar sakte hai. Kuch log naye fund me NAV kum hone ki vajah se invest karte hai to ab aapko pata chal gaya hoga ki NAV kum hone se return acha hoga ye predict karna risky hai.

Jo fund pehle se establish hai wo jyada secure hai aur kum risky hai to naye fund me invest kafi risky sabit ho sakta hai.
